Most advisors manage one piece of your finances. I coordinate all of them, so your corporate structure, tax planning, protection, and estate work stop pulling in different directions.

Each one is doing their job well inside their own lane. Nobody is looking at the whole structure, which is where the expensive gaps live: retained earnings sitting idle, a capital dividend account nobody is tracking, insurance owned by the wrong entity, an estate plan that assumes a corporate structure you no longer have.

Since I started my career in 2008, I learned that bad financial advice is remarkably consistent across time zones. I built a large practice, then spent years coaching other advisors on building theirs, and the same thing kept turning up. Nobody was looking at the whole picture.
Physicians have the widest gap I have seen between what someone earns and what they actually keep, and almost none of it is their fault. You spent your twenties learning medicine, not corporate structure, and then somebody handed you a professional corporation and wished you luck.
I joined Solomon Financial as a Senior Partner in late 2025 to build the thing I kept wishing existed. Eighteen years in, licensed across most of Canada, my goal is to give you the confidence, with our team behind you, to dream bigger, create a life of impact, and build a lasting legacy.

The assessment and the financial fit call are free, with no obligation. If we move ahead, you get a written summary of exactly what you'll pay and what it's for before anything starts.
You don't, until we talk. That's what the assessment and the fit call are for. They cost nothing and there's nothing to buy. I start with your structure: the corporation, the tax picture, the estate plan. If a product is the answer, I'll show you the math. If it isn't, I'll say so. I've told plenty of people they're already fine. That's not how salespeople work.
There is no minimum. It's not about assets, it's about trajectory. I love working with people who are starting out and helping them get to their goals faster. If you're serious about where you're headed, the conversation is worth having.
Our Solomon team is licensed across Canada, serving over 15,000 clients. No matter where you live, we can help.
You. I'm paid to give you the plan that costs you the least and gets you the most. If that means telling you there's nothing to change, that's what I say. I've walked away from deals that weren't right for the client. An advisor who works for you says no when the answer is no.
You wouldn't buy the first car you see at the dealership. You wouldn't make an offer on the first house you walk through. Same thing here. Most of my clients already had an advisor when we met. In the back of their minds they knew the fees were high, the advice started with insurance instead of planning, and their accountant and lawyer were never part of the conversation. The assessment takes five minutes. Think of it as a second opinion.
Your accountant can only report what already happened. Every tax strategy has to be in place before year end. I work alongside your accountant, not around them. They file the return. I build the plan: salary versus dividend, the CDA, the estate freeze, the insurance structure.
You're right, fees are eating your returns. Our philosophy is evidence based investing with total transparency. No hidden layers, no surprises. It's our strength. Most of our clients are referred by colleagues who saw how much they could save once someone showed them the real cost.
Both. They're not the same thing. Your corporation is where the money lives, and most advisors only look at the personal side. We plan both: the salary and dividend mix, the retained earnings, the holdco, the estate freeze, the insurance structure. If your advisor never talks about your corporation, you don't have a plan. You have investments.
You can. But the things that cost physicians the most are invisible from the inside: the CDA nobody tracked, the insurance owned by the wrong entity, the estate plan that was never built. A surgeon doesn't operate on himself. Get the second opinion, then decide.
Retained earnings with no plan behind them. A holdco nobody has revisited. Insurance owned by the wrong entity. You can see it in the file, but fixing it sits outside your engagement.
That part is mine, and I do it alongside you rather than in place of you. Their tax filing stays with you, their legal work stays with their lawyer, and you hear from me before anything gets implemented.
